• Jay G. Smith, 59, 518 W. Orchard St., Vandalia, was arrested on April 25 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was $3,000.
• Ryan E. Peterson, 34, East St. Louis, was arrested on April 25 for failure to appear in court on a felony charge. Bond was $5,000, and he was turned over to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
