• Matthew M. Juds, 20, Kinmundy, was arrested on Jan. 2 on a felony warrant and an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant. Bond was $20,000, and he was released to the IDOC.
• Susan L. Beesley, 53, 220 N. Adams St., Vandalia, was arrested on Jan. 2 on a charge of retail theft (two counts). Bond was $1,000.
• Shawn M. Kubina, 18, 1032 W. Johnson St., Vandalia, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and driving while his license is suspended or revoked. No bond amount was listed.
