BLOOMINGTON - After finishing 17th on the first day of the boys state golf tournament on Friday, Vandalia senior Blake Swofford was looking forward to moving up the standings on Saturday.
And after playing even par through the first three holes, he may have been well on his way.
No one will know, however, as the tournament's second round was canceled to due to storms on Saturday afternoon, leaving Swofford with a 17th-place finish, five places worse than the 12th place he recorded last year.
