SEB takes fourth in NTC Tourney

St. Elmo/Brownstown finished fourth in the National Trail Conference Tournament after a 10-0 loss to St. Anthony in Monday’s third-place game.

The No. 3 Lady Eagles kept the game close through five innings, trailing 2-0 after the fourth-seeded Lady Bulldogs scored a pair of runs in the top of the first.

But St. Anthony added five runs in the sixth and two more in the seventh, while Parkland College-bound Makayla Walsh held SEB to no runs on four hits and one walk.
