Scouts holding fundraiser

Brownstown Scouts will hold a fundraiser for a bulletproof vest for Brownstown Police officer and possibly a computer for a  deputy sheriff patrol car. Bears leader Cindi Hunter said, “This is a happy benefit, because no one is sick or hurt. We want to prevent injuries and give back to those who serve and protect all of us on a daily basis.” The fundraiser, a whole-hog roast will be held at the Brownstown Fire House this Sunday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The menu will include sandwiches, baked beans, chips and drinks.
