Schools' state money is expected soon

Though Gov. Rod Blagojevich said three weeks ago that he would release funds to complete the states last two school aid payments of this fiscal year, local school districts have yet to seen any of that funding.

However, a development Wednesday morning may indicate that funding is on the way.

The money hasnt been released yet, Vandalia Superintendent of Schools Rich Well told The Leader-Union, but weve been notified that it has been vouchered.
