Though Superintendent Rich Well characterized the Vandalia Community School District’s current financial condition as “firm” and “solid,” the looming state financial crisis resulted in the district board making further cuts for the coming fiscal year.
At its monthly meeting Tuesday night, the board approved a plan to make non-certified staff reductions totaling about $100,000, and voted to trim supply expenditures in several areas of the district.
