Patoka District will destroy records
Patoka High School Principal Leslie Cole has announced that authorized personnel at the school are preparing to destroy records for all graduates in 2005 and before, and of students who withdrew before that year.
Temporary records include all information on file, with the exception of the permanent transcripts and health information cards, which are retained as permanent records for students.
Cole said that former students or parents of former students younger than 18 whose records are involved may ask to inspect, review and copy such records prior to their destruction.
Such requests should be made with the district office by Friday, July 1. Records will be destroyed after that date.
