Members of SAVE (Students Against Violating the Environment) at Vandalia Community High School again took a field trip to the Kaskaskia River boat dock to both run water-quality tests and clean up the area around the boat dock. They ran tests for dissolved oxygen, pH, phospate, nitrate and turbidity. Their tests found the water in the river to be of medium quality. In the photo above at left, Daniel Bell and Brett Ambuehl.
