Rotary Blood Drive Challenge

The Vandalia Rotary Club is challenging First Baptist Church of Vandalia to see which group can produce the most blood donors in this Tuesday’s blood drive. The winning group receives a $200 prize, provided this month by Midland States Bank. If it wins, the Rotary Club, represented by president Kevin Childers, right, will give the prize money to Relay for Life, while the church, represented by the Rev. Robert Weaver, left, will give the prize money to Lighthouse Pregnancy Center. The blood drive is scheduled for next Tuesday from noon-6 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Vandalia.
