The 73rd annual Elam family reunion will be held on Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Mulberry Grove Community Building, with a potluck dinner at noon.
Please take a covered dish to share and your own table service.

The annual Fish family reunion was held on Sunday, June 19, at the Vera Baptist Church fellowship hall.
Those attending were:
• Vandalia – Erma Warner; Harold, Kim, Aydin, Abram and Owen Warner; Trent Casey; and Brodie, Addison and Taylor Pryor.
• Fillmore – Chuck Warner.
• Coffeen – Chad and Curtis Warner.
• Altamont – Ron, Brenda and Audrey O’Dell of Altamont.
• Brownstown – Kathy and Kurt Alexander; and Ed, Taffany and Drake Hall.
• Blue Mound – Dan Meador; Dennis and Dani Noland; and Beth Binkly, Brody and Bradon.
• Ramsey – Gene Fish.
• Herrick – Beverly Blackerby.
• Mulberry Grove – Judy Steiner.


Descendants of Sam and Clara Grubaugh met on Sunday, July 3, at Rogier Park, with 51 in attendance for the noon potluck meal.
Charles Britt offered the prayer before the meal.
Traveling the farthest were Winnie Grubaugh, Rick Grubaugh, Tom and Diana Harrison, Crystal Harrison and Kevin Cleaver, and Trevor Walters, all of Michigan.
Others in attendance were: Joe and Judy Barnick, Dennie and Janet Barnick, Kara LaMar, Caleb LaMar and Aidan Schoenhoff, all of St. Elmo; Jim and Gigi Lansford of Streator; Sandy Willman of St. Jacob; Angel Averbeck and Pamela Haines, both of Marissa; Jeannie Beck, Tim, Dana, Dalton and Devin Smith, and Tyson, and Lara and Eli Smith, all of Vandalia; Bryan, Beth, Brittany and Nocholas Grubaugh, Todd Farthing and Shawn Grubaugh, all of Taylorville; Kyle Grubaugh and family of Kincaid; Robert and Donna Grubaugh of Ramsey; Mike, Christy, Audrey and Sophia Lutz of Maryville; Dewey, Sherry, Sydney and Jacob Stephens, Nathan Riley, and Charles and Betty Britt, all of Patoka; and Kenneth Allen and Lois Kesner of Indiana.
There were three marriages, five births and one death reported. The next reunion will be held the first Sunday of July 2012.
