Dothager
The Herman Dothager family reunion was held on Thursday, July 4, at Vandalia City Park.
Those attending were: Robert C. Dothager; Robin and Diana Dothager; Robin, Shane and Christina Dothager, and Herschel, Chase and Elaina Dothager; Glen and Donna Dothager, and Jeremy and Megan Dothager; Gerald Dothager and Wanda Marit; Rick Lane; DaOnne Pustelnik and Melissa Pustelnik; Phil and Sherry Dothager; Kathy Elam; Evelyn Lawler; Crystal and Ron Lawler; Elaine Choma; Imogene and Teresa Dothager; August Dothager; Jerry and Terry File; Scott and Julie Andresen; Belinda and Mindy Bowman; Jaynece and Randy Dothager; Dan and Aurelia Dothager; Justin and Clara, and Hayden and Ruby Hamel; Danny and Jan Dodson; Dwight and Julie Dothager and sons Jacob and Isaac Rau; Regina, Logan, Haven and Simeon Robart; Erma Freeman; Monte Freeman; and Rick and Nicholas Freeman.

Grubaugh
Forty-one descendants of Sam and Clara (Carson) Grubaugh met on July 7 at the Rogier Park pavilion in Vandalia.
Since July of last year, there was one marriage, one birth and three deaths. Charles Britt offered the prayer for the meal. Traveling the farthest were Dianna and Crystal Harrison, Rick Grubaugh and Kevin Cleaver, all from Melvindale, Mich.
Also present were; Heather and Bob Hall, and Jason Cutright of Charleston; Mike, Christy, Audrey and Sophia Lutz of Maryville; Heather, Dustin and Mason Taylor of Clay City; Robert, Bryan, Beth, Brittany and Nic Grubaugh of Taylorville; Joe and Judy Barnick, Dennie Barnick and Amanda Durbin, all of St. Elmo; Ruth Barnick of Brownstown; Brian and Lisa Boyle, and Brent and Samantha Nobbe and friend, all of Fillmore; Linda Hall, and Jennifer and Kloey Otto of Ramsey; Lara and Eli Smith of Vandalia; Dewey, Sherry, Sydney and Jacob Stephens, Nathan Riley, and Charles and Betty Britt, all of Patoka.
There next reunion is on the first Sunday in July 2014.
