The Fayette County Retired Teachers held their meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, at Ponderosa.
The meeting was opened by President Billyanna Dugan, and prayer was given by Jimmie Page.
After the pledge, the secretary/treasurer reports were given and accepted as read.
Richard Lowe read an article about insurance for teachers.
Dugan asked that the group posthumously honor a past member, Jim Smith, for services to the retired teachers. Beulah Brown made a motion, and it was seconded by Jim Page, with voting in favor.
