-A A +A

Teams take part in three meets in past week; set for next Tuesday's conference meet

By Andrew Harner

Two eighth-graders set school records in the pole vault last Thursday, as all four junior high track teams were victorious at Cowden-Herrick.

Emma Meyer set a new school standard for the girls by clearing 9 feet, and eighth-grader Curtis Gordon improved on his own record by clearing 11 feet, 6 inches.

Each broke their own record.

The record-breaking continued on Monday at Litchfield.

Meyer tied the 200-meter dash record with a time of 28 seconds.
