Lady Bombers take seventh at Vandalia Tourney

Brownstown beat Beecher City, 25-20, 25012, in the seventh-place game of the Vandalia Tournament on Saturday.

Dani Austin and Courtney Howard each had nine kills during the tournament to pace Brownstown’s offense, while Brittany Kistler had five service aces and 32 digs, and Michaela Walk had 17 assists.

In pool play, the Lady Bombers (3-9) lost to Vandalia, 25-11, 25-13; Carlyle, 25-22, 25-16; and East Alton-Wood River, 25-12, 25-12.
