Lady Cougars upset by Noble at regionals

South Central volleyball coach Mary Brimberry said her team would have to forget about having the No. 1 seed and just be ready to play every team this postseason.

And it showed why on Tuesday night, as the Lady Cougars were upset by No. 4 Noble, 20-25, 23-25, at the North Clay Regional ending their season and the careers of eight seniors.

Senior Kallie Garrett paced the attack with eight kills, and senior Riley Williams added a team-high two service aces.
