The Fayette County Board was scheduled on Tuesday to vote for the third time on a request from a couple planning to operate a restaurant on Vandalia Lake.
But there was no vote, despite the wishes of several board members.
Board Chairman Steve Knebel asked that the request from Steve “Luke” and Latisha Mabry for a liquor license be tabled until the September meeting.
Board member Jean Finley didn’t want to table the matter. “I’d like to vote on it and get it over with,” she said.
