The Brownstown High School National Honor Society held a cleanup day at Griffith Cemetary in rural Brownstown on Saturday.

Members of the NHS extended the invitation to anyone at BJH-HS to join them. Twelve people turned up to work alongside Griffith Cemetary Trustees Judy Hoover and Donnie Smail.
The next activity of the Brownstown NHS is the sixth annual Dodgeball Tournament on Saturday, May 12, at 6 pm.
The proceeds of the tournament will be donated to the Elizabeth Austin family of Brownstown. Elizabeth is a fourth-grader at Brownstown Elementary School who was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma tumor last fall and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
The cost to enter a team in the tournament is $35. Spectators will be charged $1, but all donations will be accepted on behalf of the family.
Students and adults interested in playing may pick up forms in the Brownstown HS office or contact Mrs. Seabaugh (NHS sponsor) at 427-3839.
