Taylor Parrish • Sophomore • Franklin

•Oct. 6 – Parrish, a Vandalia grad, played in two sets of a 3-1 loss at North Manchester (Ind.). She had one dig and one block assist during the match. Franklin is 7-13 on the season..

Kinzie Neilson • Freshman • Lincoln Land

•Oct. 3 – Neilson, a South Central graduate, had four kills and seven digs during a 3-0 win against Lincoln College. LLCC is now 20-5 on the season and is ranked No. 9 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II national poll, the highest-ever ranking for the school. LLCC has had nine straight 20-win seasons.

Brooke Maxey • Sophomore • Kaskaskia

•Oct. 3 – Maxey, A St. Elmo graduate, had a team-high 12 kills, seven digs and one block during a 3-1 win against Lake Land.

Jessica Earnest • Senior • Vanderbilt

•Oct. 2 – Earnest, a Vandalia graduate, and the Vanderbilt University bowling team are ranked No. 4 in the National Ten-Pin Coaches Association preseason poll. The Commodores received one first-place vote. Maryland-Eastern Shore, Arkansas State and Fairleigh-Dickenson are ranked above Vanderbilt.

Jennifer Potts • Freshman • Central Missouri

•Oct. 2 – Potts, a Mulberry Grove graduate, and the University of Central Missouri bowling team are ranked No. 6 in the National Ten-Pin Coaches Association preseason poll. The Jennies received one first-place vote.
