Tools for School fundraising under way

Tools for School, a program for Fayette County in-need students to select school supplies, is beginning its work for 2011 with a fundraising campaign.
Last year, nearly 700 school children, kindergarten through high school, were served by the Tools for School program.
Monetary donations received from businesses, churches, organizations and individuals are used to purchase notebooks, paper, pens, crayons and other supplies noted on the Fayette County School supply lists.
Contributions may be mailed to: Tools for School, 1221 W. Fillmore St., Vandalia, Ill. 62471.
This charitable program is directed by the Vandalia Presbyterian Church mission committee. For more information, call Sally Miller, 283-0034, or the church office, 283-0937.
