Rotary Christmas Parade is Saturday
Santa will make his first visit of the season to the Vandalia area when he rides his sleigh into town in the Rotary Christmas Parade this Saturday.
The parade, which begins at the Fayette County Courthouse parking lot at 10 a.m., runs east on Gallatin Street to Fourth Street, where it turns south and ends in the First National Bank employee parking lot. Santa will break off from the rest of the parade at Fourth Street and go to Lincoln Park, where he will talk with children in the gazebo from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
