Trial for smoking tickets delayed again

Tickets issued to the owners of the Redwood Inn by the city of Vandalia for allegedly allowing patrons to smoke in the bar has again been continued.
In rescheduling the trial, Fayette County Resident Circuit Judge S. Gene Schwarm noted "the need to try other cases."
The trial for the tickets issued to G&T Holdings is now set to begin on Nov. 28.
The tickets were initally issued to Lisa Doyle, who owns the bar with her husband, Albert. They were later re-issued because G&T Holdings is the name appearing on the city liquor license.
