Fayette County Hospital recently named two women to manage two departments within the hospital.
Amanda Weems of Iuka is the new manager of Physicians Specialty Services. She has 12 years of experience in emergency room, operating room, physicians clinics and medical surgery.
She previously was pre-operative supervisor at a surgery center in Mt. Vernon.
A native of Iuka, she and her husband, Matt, have been married for 10 years. She is a member of Iuka General Baptist Church, where she leads the church's worship service and works with the youth through the Awana program.

Melissa Willms of Brownstown has been named the new manager of Surgical Services.
She has been a nurse since 1985, working both in the emergency room and the operating room.
She previously worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia as a circulator in the surgery department. While working there, she obtained her CNOR certification.
She has been married for nearly 37 years to Dave, her high school sweetheart. They have three daughters, who are all grown and married. They have four grandchildren, with another one on the way.
Willms is breast cancer survivor and participates each year in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. She enjoys cross-stitching and antiques.
