NEW: LaDage named assistant regional superintendent

A former Vandalia School District teacher and administrator is the new assistant regional superintendent of schools for Bond, Fayette and Effingham counties.

Regional Superintendent of Schools Julie Wollerman announced on Wednesday afternoon that she had chosen Bill LaDage as her assistant.

LaDage, who has been working for the Regional Office of Education for more than 10 years, will begin work in his new position on April 16.
