Veteran Effingham attorney Rockney L. Weber has joined the Vandalia-based law firm of LeFevre Oldfield Myers Apke & Payne Law Group Ltd. He will continue to practice in the areas of real estate, banking law, and estate and business planning.
As Weber joins the firm, the attorneys of LeFevre Oldfield Myers Apke & Payne Law Group Ltd. have purchased the building in which he practiced in the firm of Schniederjon, Weber & Orr. The Law Group will be moving its Effingham practice to that building, located at 304 E. Jefferson St. in Effingham.
A native of Teutopolis, Weber received a degree in accounting from Indiana State University and a law degree from John Marshall Law School.
The Law Group Ltd. provides a broad base of legal services, including divorce, general litigation, real estate transactions, estate planning and administration, and business and tax planning. Each attorney practices in a particular area of the law. Partners in the firm include Larry L. LeFevre, David A. Oldfield, James Richard Myers, Pamela Apke and Troy G. Payne.
