A mystery dinner theatre held by Friends and Families of Fayette County Hospital on March 16 raised about $2,000 for the hospital’s support group.

Eighty tickets were made available for the dinner theatre, the first held by F&F of FCH, and Mary Halford, president of the support group, said it was sold out two weeks before the event.
“It was a huge success,” said Halford, who has been president of Friends and Families for the past four years.
The evening at Los Amigos Restaurant featured appetizers, a steak dinner and a cheesecake dessert as part of the dinner theatre performance, “Speak Easy or Forever Hold Your Piece.”
In addition to the local members of the community who performed the dinner theatre, many of those attending dressed in 1920s attire.
The cast members included Bret Brosman, Brad Dunn, Dale Timmermann, Kevin Childers, Robin Starnes, Maranatha Cripe, Sue Petrea and Amy Schaal.
For the evening, Halford had an old piano moved to the restaurant, and Jim Staff donated his tuning services. The restaurant banquet room was donated by Sharon Hagy and Pat Strullmyer.
