Special exhibits in the museum for April are: Bible collection, 1820s-1940s; christening gowns from late 1800s; and church memorabilia.

The upstairs walls have been replastered, and work is under way to get that area ready for the School Children Art Show.

Art teachers, other teachers and parents may take in student work on Monday from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

The show will be open to visitors from April 18-22; hours are: Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Easter Sunday, 1-4 p.m.

Five display cases of artifacts will be located in that area.

They include a camera collection donated by Jerry Maas; a hat collection from Cletess Brungard and Cletess P. Stevenson; historic photo albums; and two other cases. More than 30 artifacts that were restored last year are hanging on the south wall.

Group tours may be scheduled by calling 283-4866. Museum hours are Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
