More E911 addressing completed

Fayette County’s Enhanced 911 coordinator announced this week that E911 addressing is progressing in county communities.
Kevin Jenne said that St. Peter, Rural Route 1 Farina, RR 1 Patoka and Bingham addresses have been officially changed, and notification letters mailed.
Jenne also said that addressing for residents in RR 2 Farina and RR 3 Altamont is completed, and those residents should be receiving letters within the next week.
Work on addressing changes in RR 1 Shobonier is nearing completion, and once those are completed, they will be sent to the U.S. Postal Service for approval. He hopes to have final letters to those residents within the next two to three weeks.
Jenne also announced that he has a new phone number, 618-283-7241. County residents are asked to use this number, and to leave a message if Jenne is unavailable.
