Arraigned in court on Monday

Four additional charges were filed on Monday against a 15-year-old male arrested last week for the murder of a Loogootee couple in their home.

At the arraignment hearing in Fayette County Circuit Court on Monday morning, Judge William Becker read the charges to Clifford W. Baker, who alleged murdered Mike Mahon and Deb Tish early last Wednesday morning.

Baker, who was charged last Wednesday with two counts of first-degree murder, now also faces two additional counts of first-degree murder and two counts of home invasion, a Class X felony which is punishable by up to natural life in prison. First-degree murder is punishable by up to 60 years in prison, with life in prison a sentencing possibility.

Baker is being charged as an adult.

Members of the Tish and Mahon families were present for the arraignment, as were several of Baker's supporters. They waited outside the jail as Baker was taken to the car that was transporting him back to the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center.

He is being held in the juvenile detention center in lieu of $2 million bond.
