Miley Worker crowned Miss Illinois Princess

Miley Worker of Vandalia was recently crowned the Miss Illinois Princess at the International Junior Miss Pageant in Chicago.


At the pageant, Worker won the talent, casual wear, commercial and photogenic optionals.
She is the daughter of Tim and Mandy Worker of Vandalia and the granddaughter of Kelvin and Sandy Worker, Brian and Mary Daniels of Effingham, and Bruce and Nancy Meyer of Altamont.
She has been busy representing her title and community by participating in many charitable events, including the Queens for a Cure 5K in Rockport, Ind.; March for Babies in Chicago; Greenville College Fun Run for Biology; and Make Tracks for Zoo half-mile Kids’ Run in St. Louis, Mo.
Worker will be representing Illinois at the national pageant in Orlando, Fla., July 2-7.
She has been sponsored locally by First National Bank, Dr. Jay Lowry, Triple A Tumbling, Helm DUI Services, Paul and Terri Luster, and Jessi Thull.
