Michel is vice chair of realtors association

Sandy Michel of Vandalia GMAC Real Estate of Vandalia was installed as vice chairman of the Greater Gateway Association of Realtors at the association's recent annual installment banquet in Collinsville.
At the ceremony, immediate past chairman of the association's board, Rick Edwards of Century 21 Seniker-Edwards, turned over the gavel to newly elected chairman of the board Jenni Beck.
Along with Michel, Joy Wofford of RE/MAX Realty Center was installed as chairman-elect. Four new directors also were installed: Marna Asbury of First MidAmerica Credit Union, Dave Erutti of Bev George & Associates, Tammy Owens of RE/MAX Alliance and Linda Wheaton of Landmark Realty.
The newly elected officers and directors join the existing board members: Kevin Botterbush of Botterbush & Associates, Jill Cummings of RE/MAX Preferred Partners, Tammie Fleming of Prudential One Realty Centre and Rosetta Heavner of Landmark Realty.
Serving as master of ceremonies for the event was past chairman of the board, Chris Seniker  of Century 21 Seniker-Edwards.
The Greater Gateway Association of Realtors serves more than 1,100 realtors and affiliate members in the Southwestern Illinois region, including Bond, Calhoun, Fayette, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe and Montgomery counties.
The association promotes education, professionalism and ethical conduct in the real estate industry; advocates the protection of property rights; assists in providing Americans with safe and affordable housing; and furthers the interest of residential and other property ownership.
