Meyer – 70 Years

Elvis and Maxine Meyer of Mulberry Grove will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. this Sunday in the fellowship room at Temple Baptist Church in Vandalia.
Coffee, tea, punch and cake will be provided.
Elvis and the former Maxine Thomas were married on Sept. 7, 1940, in St. Charles, Mo.
Elvis is the son of the late Clyde and May Meyer of VanBurensburg.
Maxine is the daughter of the late Earl and Helen Thomas of Vera.
They lived in St. Louis, Collinsville and Vandalia before moving to Mulberry Grove 10 years ago.
