Mayoral contests in Vandalia, St. Elmo and Ramsey

Residents of Vandalia, St. Elmo and Ramsey will have choices for the top elected office in their community when they go to the polls this spring.
The following have filed petitions to run for municipal posts in the April consolidated election.
VANDALIA
Mayor
Rick Gottman will seek a fourth term in office, and he will be opposed by Brian Stout.
City Clerk
Peggy Bowen is running unopposed in seeking a fifth term in office.
Aldermen
• Ward I – Incumbent Jerry Swarm is running unopposed.
