Major improvements to a section of Interstate 70 just outside Vandalia in the near future could hurt businesses near one of its exits while that work is being done
Vandalia’s mayor told the city council on Monday that he is working to keep the impact on those businesses to a minimum.
Rick Gottman told the council that he learned recently that the Illinois Department of Transportation will be replacing the two I-70 bridges over the Kaskaskia River just east of the 63-mile exit at Vandalia.
