Masons donate to Head Start

Temperance Lodge No. 16 A.F. & A.M. of Vandalia recently donated $400 to Head Start. Above, Worshipful Master Tim McMillan (left) and Secretary Tom Ortciger (right) present the donation to Susie Augenstein, Head Start supervisor/teacher. The Illinois Ancient Free & Accepted Masons is a strictly charitable organization that has many programs that benefit the surrounding community and its residents. Among those are the ILCHIP (Illinois Child Identification Program), Student Assistance Program, Coins for Children, Masonic Outreach Program for our Aging Brethren and two children's Homes located in LaGrange and Murphysboro.
