Maranatha’s expands, adds new owners

After expanding into an adjacent storefront that formerly was a bridal shop and adding new spa services, Maranatha's Salon, Spa and Tanning held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 29.

Maranatha Cripe, owner of the business, also announced that two long-time associates have become partners in the business. The new partners are Sarah Cripe (eight years) and Stephanie Spicer (15 years).
Maranatha's has been in business for 17 years, with the past four in the location on New York Drive.
The business has 17 employees.
"We're now a full-service salon," Maranatha Cripe said. "We added about 2,000 square feet to the business when we added the spa. We offer the usual massages and facials, but we also offer chemical peals, botox, tattoo removal and cosmetic tattoo makeup.
"We are a Platinum Matrix salon, and we sell Glo mineral makeup.
Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
