A rural Mulberry Grove man who was arrested in September for four burglaries has accepted a prison sentence after pleading guilty to those burglaries.
Bobby L. Phillips, 48, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Friday, nine days after enter an open plea of guilty to four counts of burglary filed in September by Fayette County States Attorney Stephen Friedel. In entering an open plea, Phillips agreed to accept a sentence decided by a judge.
