Illinois’ governor is scheduled to announce on Thursday a major road project in Fayette County.
The office of Gov. Pat Quinn said on Wednesday that the governor will announce capital investments of more than $19.6 million to build two new Interstate 70 bridges over the Kaskaskia River near Vandalia.
Funded the governor’s “Illinois Jobs Now!” program, Quinn said that the project is part of his commitment to creating jobs and improving the state’s economy.”
