Main Street holds Corn Day

A crowd gathered at Fifth and Gallatin streets for the crowning of Corn Day royalty, and to listen to music by ‘Charlie’s Jam Band.’

Emma Warner, 9, of Vandalia participated in the sidewalk-painting contest sponsored by Midland States Bank. She is the daughter of Dana and Jason Warner.

hree-year-old Kiera Givens of Vandalia enjoyed the pony rides. She is the daughter of Erica Howard and Shawn Givens.
