Mahon has allowed no earned runs in five innings with Gateway Grizzlies

St. Elmo High School graduate Logan Mahon has pitched well in three appearances out of the bullpen for the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League.

The Grizzlies are based in Sauget.

Mahon pitched two innings against Joliet during an 8-4 win on May 20. He allowed two hits and a walk.

Two days later, he struck out two batters in one inning of work during a 1-0 loss at Washington.

He also walked one batter.

Last Thursday, Mahon took the loss after pitching one inning of a 4-3 loss to Washington.

He allowed two runs on two hits and two walks. Both of the runs were unearned, so his season earned-run average still stands at 0.00.
