Brownstown

Tuesday, Sept. 21
vs. Beecher City
Brownstown lost to Beecher City in three sets (22-25, 25-18, 25-21) on Tuesday night.

Katy Satterthwaite led the Bombers with six kills and three service aces. Morgan Stinebring added five kills, two service aces and two blocks of her own. Brittany Kistler had eight digs.

Saturday, Sept. 18
at Vandalia Tournament
Brownstown was defeated by Vandalia (25-11, 25-9), Carlyle (25-10, 25-2), Lebanon (25-14, 25-17) and Beecher City (21-25, 25-20, 17-25) during the Vandalia Tournament on Saturday.

The Bombers were led by Stinebring, who had 11 kills, and Kistler, who had 27 digs and three service aces.

Thursday, Sept. 16
vs. St. Anthony
Brownstown was defeated by St. Anthony in straight sets (25-16, 25-9) on Thursday. Kistler and Breann Barnick each had two kills for the Bombers.

St. Elmo

Saturday, Sept. 18
at Flora Tournament
St. Elmo went 3-2 at the Flora Tournament on Saturday. The Eagles defeated Flora (25-14, 25-7, North Clay (25-14, 25-18) and Lawrenceville (25-16, 25-12). The team lost to Dieterich (23-25, 27-25, 7-15) and Benton (20-25,  16-25).

Britani Beasley and Brooke Maxey were named to the All-Tournament team. Beasley had 88 assists, 27 digs, six kills, five aces and two blocks. Maxey had 30 digs, five aces, three kills and two blocks. Megan Durbin led the team with 20 kills.

Thursday, Sept. 16
vs. Stew-Stras
St. Elmo beat Stew-Stras in set straight sets on Tuesday. 25-13, 25-17. Maxey led the way for the Eagles with eight kills and two blocks. Beasley had 21 assists.

Tuesday, Sept. 14
vs. Brownstown
St. Elmo defeated Brownstown in straight sets, 25-14, 25-20. For the Eagles, Maxey led the way with six kills, and Beasley added 11 assists. For the Bombers, Stinebring had four service aces and two kills.
