As he did as a young lawyer, traveling from circuit to circuit, Abraham Lincoln will be traversing through Central Illinois.
And the Vandalia Statehouse will be one of Lincoln’s stops.
The Illinois Historic Preservation Agency announced late last week that a Lincoln historic interpreter will visit state historic sites in Lerna, Bement and Vandalia next Saturday.
The Statehouse is the final stop in his journey, with Lincoln scheduled to be at the state’s oldest existing capitol from 7-9 p.m.
