Library has Civil War exhibit

The year 2011 began the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.  The war lasted five years, until 1865. History classes, books, movies and TV have taught a lot about that war, but there is always something new to learn.
It is known that many men were lost in that war. However, more men were lost due to disease than to the actual fighting. In fact, this deadly weapon that could not be seen killed two soldiers for every one felled by gunfire.
