The Lady Vandals earned a come-from-behind win on Tuesday at the Litchfield Tournament, defeating Athens, 68-66, on the strength of 24 fourth-quarter points.
Senior Amber Bruno had 22 points, and junior Megan Godoyo put in 21. Junior Morgan Cripe added 11, and freshman Karlie Bright scored her first four career points.
Freshman Madelyn Hosick also had her first career points on a field goal.
Vandalia attempted 49 free throws in the game, and have made 40-of-70 attempts on the season.
