After winning all of their regular-season games in Egyptian-Illini Conference play, the Lady Eagles earned the conference tournament title.

St. Elmo/Brownstown went 5-0 during the EIC Tournament last week to win its 10th tournament title in the past 11 seasons with a 25-11, 25-5 win against Beecher City and a 25-15, 25-11 win against Cowden-Herrick on Friday night.

The Lady Eagles (19-15) had won nine straight tournaments before losing to Christ Our Rock Lutheran last season, and coach Elise Asher said it was nice to be back on top of the conference.
