It was the game that everyone on Brownstown/St. Elmo’s roster was waiting for.

And they got the result they wanted, too.

BSE scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to rally from an eight-point deficit and beat Altamont, 39-37, last Thursday in a key National Trail Conference matchup.

Seniors Molly Hill and Bethany Oberlink keyed the comeback, with both making five free throws and two field goals in the final period.

Hill had 13 points in the game, and Oberlink added 12.

Audriana Pruett put in four, and four others scored one field goal.

Altamont dominated the first half, holding BSE to just nine points, while scoring 16 of its own.
