Organic farming and gardening class
The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will offer an organic farming and gardening class at the Vandalia Campus from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
The registration number for the class is COED-5101-VA01E.
In this class, students will learn what it takes to grow crops, vegetables and flowers without chemicals today, as well as gain a better understanding of the processes it takes to grow nutritious foods the new “old-fashioned way.”
The cost of this class is $10, and it will be taught by Master Naturalist Brad Brannon, who has over 20 years of experience teaching horticulture classes.

Virus protection class
The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will hold a virus protection” class at the Vandalia Campus on Thursday evenings, Feb. 8 and 15, from 6-9 p.m.
The registration number for the class is COED-7028-VA01E.
Computers may seem sophisticated and advanced, but Windows-based PCs need a lot of care to keep them safely functioning and to avoid a host of threats. Students will learn about updating anti-virus programs, configuring them for maximum protection and free anti-virus programs, and become aware of the limitations of anti-virus programs. Students will also become aware of worms, software bugs, Malware and more.
Cost for this course is $30.

Spiritual Nutrition class
The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will offer a “Spiritual Nutrition” class at the Vandalia Campus from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
The registration number for the class is COED 5102 VA01E.
In this class, students will learn how the people of old worked with what we are made of, water and minerals to build their health and true spark of life. Also, this class will explain toxemia and our Genetic Code.
The cost of this class is $10, and will be taught by Master Naturalist Brad Brannon, who has more than 20 years of experience teaching horticulture classes.

Beginning guitar workshop
The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will offer a beginning guitar workshop at the Vandalia Campus from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
The registration number for the class is COED 5037 VA01E.
Students in this workshop will discover how to play simple songs on the guitar. Those who have a guitar can take it to the workshop, but participants are not required to have a guitar.
The cost of the workshop is $13.
