KC registering students for summer classes

Registration for classes for the 2012 summer semester at the Kaskaskia College Vandalia Campus is now in progress, and applications are still being accepted.
Classes offered at Vandalia for the Summer 2012 Semester include: Anatomy & Physiology, Writing Effective Sentence Paragraph, Critical Reading/Study Skills, General Chemistry, Political Science, Biology, Nurse Assistant, General Statistics, Microbiology, Intro to Word Processing, Microsoft Excel (Beginner), MS Powerpoint (Beginner), Food Service Sanitation Certificate, Food Service Sanitation Refresher, Intro to Word Processing, Microsoft Excel (Beginner), Computer Applications and Business System Concepts, Payroll and Business Taxes, Drawing I, English Composition 101 and 102, Intro to College Composition, History of the United States, Human Health and Wellness, First Aid, Introduction to Literature, American Literature, Fundamentals of Math I and II, Basic Mathematics, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Medical Terminology, Music Appreciation, Basic Weight Training, Jogging, Walking, Core Values/Ethical Decision, Psychology, Child Psychology, Adolescent Psychology, Fundamentals of Reading, Sociology, Accounting Principles, Financial Accounting, Introduction to Art, Introduction to Business, Legal & Social Environment of Business, Personal Finance, History of the United States, History of Diversities, Intro to Criminal Justice, Intro to Music in America, Karate I, Life Span Growth & Development, Spanish, Fundamentals of Speech, Intro to Social Services and Sociology.
These course offerings are an opportunity for university students who are home for the summer to save time and money by taking a summer class at KC to transfer back to their institution and get them one step closer to their degree.

In-district high school students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year can also be eligible for KC Summer scholarships. Call 545-3048 for more information on these scholarships.
