KC holds GED graduation

Kaskaskia College recently held a GED graduation ceremony in the Lifelong Learning Center.
Kaskaskia College offers a GED scholarship to eligible GED graduates. The scholarship covers tuition and student technology fees and may be awarded for up to 48 credit hours as long as the student meets eligibility requirements and attends consecutive semesters.
May 2012 GED graduates include: Elizabeth Donaldson (Ramsey), Shannon Hack (Vernon), Gauge Jarrett (Vandalia), Phillip Kern (Keyesport), Cody Lange (Vandalia), Dillon Ledbetter (Vandalia), Rosann Lott (Vandalia), Steven Matzker (Vandalia), Kevin McWhorter (Kinmundy), Matthew Missey (Vandalia), Brittney Pyle (Vandalia), Aaron Sapp (Vandalia), Timothy White (Vandalia) and Megian Young (Brownstown).
McWhorter and Missey were named to the National Adult Education Honor Society.
The first step to enroll in a GED Review class is to attend an orientation session.
Orientations are scheduled in both June and July throughout the KC District.
