‘Half-price zone’ for tuition introduced
In an effort to reduce the impact of tuition costs for its students, Kaskaskia College now offers a “half-price zone” for any student enrolling in more than 15 credit hours.
This new agreement allows students who enroll in the greatest number of credit hours each semester to receive substantial tuition savings.
Nancy Kinsey, vice president of Administrative Services says, “We are pleased to offer this savings plan to our students. There are no exceptions and no classes are excluded from this exciting offer.
Students who register for more than 15 credit hours in the fall 2012 and spring 2013 semesters will enjoy the automatic half-price tuition waiver for every credit hour above 15.”
With the half-price savings on tuition for classes exceeding 15 credit hours, a student enrolling in 18 credit hours would realize a savings of $138. If the same student enrolls in 21 credit hours, the savings would be $276.
